The PE WPC wall panel extrusion line is specifically designed to produce hollow or solid WPC wall panels / wall cladding for outdoor decorative applications, using recycled PE/HDPE plastics and wood flour / plant fiber as primary raw materials. This production line is also versatile enough to manufacture WPC decking, fencing, posts, pergola profiles, and other profiles by simply changing the extrusion molds.
Core Equipment & Technical Configuration
1. Extruder Main Unit
Machine type: Conical twin-screw extruder (e.g., SJSZ65/132 series), specifically engineered for high-fill, low-flow WPC materials, featuring high torque, low shear, and forced devolatilization to ensure homogeneous plasticization and thorough venting.
Drive & control system: The main motor is typically equipped with an ABB frequency inverter for stable speed regulation and synchronized control. Temperature control is managed by an Omron PID controller, providing automatic adjustment with high precision. Core electrical components are primarily sourced from Siemens or Schneider.
Screw material: Both screws and barrels are made of 38CrMoALA high-quality alloy steel, with high-temperature nitriding treatment (nitrided layer depth 0.4–0.7 mm, hardness HV740–940), offering excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance to withstand long-term abrasion from wood flour/fibers.
2. Calibration & Cooling System
Vacuum calibration table: Equipped with a water-cooled vacuum calibration unit. Table lengths are available in 4m, 6m, or 8m options. All water-contacting parts are constructed from SUS304 stainless steel to prevent rust. An enhanced vortex cooling system ensures rapid and uniform cooling and sizing, meeting high-speed extrusion requirements.
3. Haul-Off & Cutting System
Caterpillar haul-off unit: Features a special lifting technology for stable operation, high traction force, and outstanding reliability.
Automatic cutting saw: The cutting speed is synchronized with the haul-off speed. The PLC-controlled system performs in-line fixed-length automatic cutting, and a dust recovery device is included for cleaner operation.
4. Surface Treatment & Post-Processing (Optional)
In-line embossing: While the profile is still warm, an embossing roller can press 3D three-dimensional wood grain patterns onto the surface.
Sanding / Brushing: Post-processing equipment can perform sanding and brushing to enhance the natural wood-like tactile feel of the wall panel surface.
